Fun Friends Fellowship is a small day program for people with developmental & intellectual disabilities
This day program is designed for individuals with developmental and intellectual disabilities, providing a 100% community-based experience without a home base or office.
I am a Christian. You don’t need to be a Christian to enroll, However, Christian music will often be played in the background, and we start each day with a simple prayer
This day program is designed for individuals with developmental and intellectual disabilities, providing a 100% community-based experience without a home base or office.
I am a Christian. You don’t need to be a Christian to enroll, However, Christian music will often be played in the background, and we start each day with a simple prayer for a safe and fun day, including one at lunch. Also I do not participate in Halloween or such things. This program is privately owned and operated by me. Participants pay me or Parents/Guardians pay me to take their loved ones out. This is a small, private, safe, relaxed, low-key, and fun-based program that primarily takes place outdoors. I pick up participants—whom we affectionately call friends—from their homes around 9:00-9:30 am, depending on traffic, and I take the same group out into the community on a regular basis. Our destinations include parks, bays, beaches, SeaWorld, and zoos, and I drop them off at their homes around
3:00-3:30 pm.
What this program is NOT: This program is NOT a behavior program,
This program is NOT a behavior modification program.
This program is NOT a job coaching program.
This program is NOT or an ABA Applied Behavior Analysis program. This Program IS: different and fun, and more relaxed approach. A no stress approach operating five days per week— Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday—for three weeks each month, with one week off per month. We are closed the second week per month and most Holidays. This small, relaxed, fun-based, low-pressure program takes place primarily outdoors.
